Internal Account Managers
Due to our continued success, we are aiming to recruit highly motivated, career minded people to join our Sales Office Team as Account Managers.
The successful candidates will have several years experience in a Customer Service environment & understand the concept “people do business with people”. Experience in Electrical Wholesale would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Working as an integral part of our Customer Service Team, you will be responsible with providing the highest level of Customer Service to our clients along with developing relationships with them in order to maximise turnover & profitability.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls in a timely & professional manner
- Transcribe & process quotations/orders for account customers using our sales order system
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve lower cost prices
- Expedite orders to ensure delivery dates for customers are met
- Utilise the quotation management system
- Set and meet agreed target levels of performance
- Manage and supervise junior members of staff
- Take responsibility to drive sales and gross profit
- Build relationships with clients & suppliers in order to increase gross profit
- Be involved with the entertainment of clients where necessary in order to enhance business relationships
- Visit customers on site where appropriate
- Be aware & involved in other functions of our business model in order to enhance career progression
- Liaise with your Sales Representative to ensure communication levels are high
- Meet with your sales team for key and strategic management purposes
- Show a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Work Saturday mornings on a 4 week rota basis
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary & after a probationary period would enjoy membership of the company performance related pay scheme.
