The WINSTA® KNX male connector/plug E coding is the pluggable solution for your use in control cabinets, for lighting connections or on PCBs. On PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to make connections according to many different requirements in no time flat. For greater protection in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is equipped with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector offers protection against contact with live components in accordance with protection type IP20 (Only when mated and secured with a strain relief housing (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas.)). The standardised KNX interface represents a manufacturer-independent communication protocol for intelligently networking state-of-the-art home and building system technologies. A WINSTA® KNX pluggable installation connector with E coding, like all coded pluggable installation connectors, allows blind mating. Components with E coding are primarily used for supplying auxiliary power, for example to I/O devices.
