With consumers being encouraged to install solar panels to benefit from Government feed-in tariffs, a new industry of PV installers is spawned, and when undermining the integrity of a slate roof, the quality of repair is likely to be poor.
Many installation technicians are not experienced roofers and are therefore not able to offer a quality repair or long term guarantee. The SolarFlash™ system enables any competent installer to perform a high quality slate/tile roof repair.
The SolarFlash™ system is designed to create a waterproof solution for refitting slates/tiles around the bracket of a solar PV mounting system. SolarFlash™ fully complies with MCS 012 and ensures suitable clearance and weather tightness is maintained. Shims are provided to ensure you can achieve the correct clearance with your bracket.

Kit Includes:

  • 1 x SolarFlash Tile
  • 1 x Weather seal foam insert.
  • 2 x Shims.
