LUR UK – Rail Lighting Upgrade, Paint Storage Facility

The Project

QUEST Electrical were appointed by LUR UK to carry out a lighting upgrade within a paint storage container located within a specialist rail environment.

The project involved the installation of Prima LED EX lighting fittings, providing a robust and specialist lighting solution suitable for the requirements of the storage environment.

Working within a specialist rail facility required careful planning and coordination to ensure the works were completed safely and efficiently, while minimising disruption to the client's operations.

QUEST's engineering team completed the installation over a three-day programme, managing the electrical works through to completion and ensuring the installation was delivered to the required standard.

The Challenge

The project required a suitable lighting solution for a paint storage area, where the nature of the stored materials meant that specialist electrical equipment was required.

The works also needed to be undertaken within a rail environment, requiring careful consideration of site safety, access and the client's operational requirements.

The Solution

QUEST supplied and installed Prima LED EX fittings, product code 110435, providing a specialist LED lighting solution certified for use in relevant potentially explosive atmospheres.

Our engineers completed the installation over three days, with a focus on safe working practices, quality installation and efficient project delivery.

The completed project provided LUR UK with an upgraded LED lighting installation within the paint storage facility, delivered safely and efficiently within a three-day programme.
